A new feature film "Giedre" by Donatas Vaisnoras will be premiered at the Pasaka Cinema Theatre in Vilnius on December 1st, 2009. The film is about two people, Giedre and Darius, who are divorcing despite being in love with each other. Both of them do not know why they are doing this, but their separation turns into some sort of a cruel declaration of love.

Despite the heroes go on with their lives, their connection remains uncut. They keep on sharing the intimate details of their lives. Such quaint openness helps to return the lost closeness, at least for a moment. The turmoil of feelings and thoughts is growing with every day. Eventually they realize they cannot live without each other… However, the previous closeness isn’t possible anymore either.

"Giedre" is a melancholic love film, which invites to appreciate love and devotion to a relationship.
