I invite the Lithuanian theater lovers to experience our latest project - the play "Big Money" (dir. Justinas Krisiūnas). This play has already gained significant popularity throughout Lithuania and is being shown in various towns and cities across the country.
"Big Money" is an energetic and philosophical play about what it means to have a lot of money and how it affects relationships and people's understanding of happiness. The music composed by Titas Petrikis for the play adds a special atmosphere, allowing for a deeper immersion into the characters' experiences and dilemmas.
The main character, Ričardas, played by actor Mantas Vaitiekūnas, wins 162 million euros one day. This unexpected twist of fate brings not only joy but also fear of a new life to come. With only a few hours left before the deadline to claim the prize, Ričardas, accompanied by his mother (Larisa Kalpokaitė), best friend (Valentinas Krulikovskis), and wife Kamile (Milda Noreikaitė), must make a life-changing decision.
Throughout the play, the dilemma arises - does happiness lie in money or in their quantity? Will the characters dare to accept the new challenge brought by big money, and how will it change their lives?
Titas Petrikis says: "In creating the music for this play, I aimed to create a soundtrack that would not only complement the dramatic plot but also allow the audience to experience the characters' emotions. The music here becomes a bridge between the stage and the audience, allowing us all to explore what happiness truly is."
The play "Big Money" is a great opportunity to see how modern theater can contemplate important life themes, and Titas Petrikis's music is yet another endeavor to create meaningful and engaging art.
