“Uoga Spanguolėlė – Finaliniai kerai”, composed for the film Gardutė, has been named the 2026 InterContinental Music Awards “Best of Pangea” winner in the Soundtrack category.

Sometimes what matters most about an award is not the recognition itself, but what the music is being recognised for. At the heart of this piece is a distinctly Lithuanian musical language — a sense of our folklore, the tradition of sutartinės, and an exploration of how these elements can find a new voice within contemporary film music.

It is especially meaningful to see music rooted in the traditions of a small country like Lithuania being heard and recognised among such a diverse range of musical voices from around the world.
